Travis Scott's shoe empire is about to expand. Having become one of the biggest names in footwear thanks to his work on the Air Jordan 1 and his first signature silhouette, the Jordan Jumpman Jack, La Flame soft-launched a model with the Swoosh earlier this year. The Zoom Field Jaxx was first introduced to consumers at MLB All-Star Weekend, but with the "Light Chocolate" colorway, its run is about to begin in earnest.
The all-white iteration that introduced the silo earlier this year was a fitting arrangement for first impressions, but this makeup is closer to Travis's brand designs. Anchoring the design in hints of "Light Chocolate" khaki brings it closer to now-iconic pairs like his Jordan 1 "Mocha", while the heavy dose of light blue on the upper still lends a fresh look throughout. Although it can't be mistaken for a real performance,Travis' model here combines several field silhouettes, drawing inspiration primarily from the Land Shark and Spiridon.
While the release of the Nike Zoom Field Jaxx "Light Chocolate" is remarkable in its own right, it adds to a busy winter calendar for the Houston superstar. The releases of the Jordan Jumpman Jack "Mocha" and Jordan 1 Low "Velvet Brown" will help him close out 2024, with many leaked and reported pairs already shaping up for 2025.
